The single-sided, single page letter of cooperation details vague projects for Lockheed (Martin) to partner with Burlington on including “Urban Triage,” “Vertical Wind Turbines,” “Solar Photovoltaic Systems,” “Telemetrics” and “Three dimensional LIDAR City models.”
One of the controversial aspects of the deal would allow Lockheed engineers to work inside Burlington schools with schoolchildren….
Meg Brooke, Chair of Chittenden County Progressives said, “Welcoming one of the leaders of this military industrial complex into our schools goes against all I, and many others, believe.
